I have been thinking about this variant for a while and made a couple changes. What do you guys think about it
New Position Workshop / Testing Thread
Where would i add the bishop.
Replace the dark squared alibabas and put the bishop there.

Rules: Fog of War, Stalemate Loss and No Promotion, 15s|1 timer.
For those who don't understand, if both players start with the same direction (forward or diagonal), white wins. If players go in different directions, black wins.
Could it be a good WoF? I'm pretty sure it's 50/50, but idk.
All the times II,added bare piece, lets the main tactic become attack instead of shuffle cuz 1 piece claim loss.
setup:1 rook on the 2nd rank
rules:fog of war,giveaway,bare piece,atomic,crazyhouse,setup 5,fatal capture.
If I were you, I would make the setup piece the royal for intreseting strategies. Also as mentioned before on Variants.world, this gamerule combo is not good unless the pieces are extremely weak, in which case it becomes a shufflefest. You see that this is basically a paradox cycle. If you still don't want to abandon this, I recommend shrinking the board (shoutout to icp) and replacing the rooks and bishops with dabbaba riders and alfil riders (Or something like that)
I am working on a Xiangqi-looking custom position:

The rules are: KoTH, Stalemate loss, Bare piece, =W.

Is there any problem in this custom position?

Do you guys think I should remove sideways in Unforeseen and add grasshopper to promotion if it gets declined? I originally wanted it to be difficult to stop promotion, but we'll see.
(that would also mean that there would be one lock instead of two, and gameplay changes significantly)
