Both of the dabbaba-riders of one colour cover the same set of squares. This means I can use one of them as cannon fodder and be at limited disadvantage.
(Unfortunately, if symmetry is to be maintained, there is nothing that can be done about it.)

Currently, the alfils are way too useless in my opinion and do not affect gameplay that much(a problem) and is a little similar to warui-shogi by you(but not a big problem), but other than that this is quite good!
Rules: Fog of War, Stalemate Loss and No Promotion, 15s|1 timer.
For those who don't understand, if both players start with the same direction (forward or diagonal), white wins. If players go in different directions, black wins.
Could it be a good WoF? I'm pretty sure it's 50/50, but idk.

A slight "fix" - move the right-side Dabbaba-riders 1 square diagonally left-backward.

What about Alfil Riders or Bishops?

Get rid of atomic and Fog. Also add a few pieces in the centre as a "trigger," because nothing is stopping each side from not starting the game (if it's not possible because of setup, you can use some bot mechanics to move bot pieces to the centre). And swap Dragon to General because it's almost the same thing as a bishop but worth more.
