Masterful use of pieces spam and completely unbalanced and forced win!!!! queens army and martin players are a very nice touch that incorporates very interesting strategies and solves many issues in the endgame that would have existed without it. This is a very skillful variant and is very much in the spirit of a NCV!

This looks an interesting variant at first, but this is extremely similar to No Castling. This is because the Rooks and Bishops, Knights, queens's placement are same than No Castling, the promotion and pawns, rules and royal are also same than No Castling. although there are castling rule, give faster develop and king safety, but it doesn’t make this unique.
white also has about 0.3 pawns advantage, which is slightly(?) better than black. also, this has too many theories, makes this not beginner-friendly. 
With this in mind, we decided to decline this variant.

setup 6th limit, pawns home rank 5th, 11th=R
time control 10 min

royal: Alibaba

(diplomacy and spectator chat are use in testing)
fatal makes a capture only gain 1 piece and lose a piece in same time, so many times it doesn't matter so much, shuffle don't work because you can break out and use torpedo+ no En passant.
mate Alibaba or rush hill in end game to win.
what do you think? open to brutal honest feedback.

This looks better. You must have heard my inner voice asking you to redesign #1534. You have also respected the composition recommendation about promotion only to pieces that appeared on the board during the game.

Thanks! This is like a miniature version of #1534 and has different gameplay, so both are separate variants since #1534 is too complex to be a WoF in my opinion.

New pocket chess concept:

Rules: Giveaway, Torpedo, Promotion=4th rank =FWN (so that first move promotions are possible), Sideways (probably redundant), en passant allowed

Any comments on this position? Would this position be too generic for a new WOF, perhaps? The inspiration for this position was normal Giveaway, but I was hoping that this position be more complex and tactical. Would there be any forced wins? (I don't know how to use fairy Stockfish.)
