i suggest you read https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/how-not-to-make-a-variant
Is this good?
See the submissions "Bottleneck Chess," "Bunker Chess," and "Amalgam." Additionally, custom variant positions are not allowed to have checky, ghostboard, blindfold, or use only a standard chess setup (incorporating a standard setup, like in Golden Ratio, is fine. Not sure why Rookmate is an exception for this).

Looking for potential gamerules and piece suggestions (no atomic). Also wondering about piece changes and seargents for pawns because players rarely move soldiers
Revision of self-stalemate
(the problem is the opposite colour ferz endings are damn annoying how to fix it)

turn off promo to ferz 🤯
(I think) that looks like you just threw all the common rules at the board. A variant like this is too complicated for beginner play yet will likely have some winning strategy (that may involve shuffling). If submitted, I don't think that a concept like this will get accepted.

This is just the standard position with crazyhouse, checky, and FoW (+ random bricks in center locking e and d files). Variants with standard position and a random bunch of rules are usually not fun to play and would be an autodecline. You should create your own position instead of using the standard one.
