Cool idea! However, this is already possible! You can have bots that are able to setup bricks in spaces that your piece leaves, as seen in variants like "Chicken Hockey" and "Wild" by @CooolChicken (you can find them on variants world).
P.S. to make players lose if they have no legal moves, enable stalemate loss.

Rules: a piece that moves from a square to square in the square that the piece moves It is a shadow and all of your pieces can't move there. Lose: You can't move anywhere. Draw: Both can't move anywhere after black moves. Win: You can still move but your opponent don't
Example:
