A: No.  The only explosions that cause fires are Ghast Fireballs.

A: Not neccessary, but fine.  If it isn't a survival server, just put it on adventure mode.

Will I eventually become pro in time? Every time I play, I find myself killing more monsters than last time (I'm playing on normal now)

A: I reccommend building supply bases with farms to replenish your stuff.

Agreed.  Make mini houses with supplies in chests.

Yes, each time you play, you will get better, but only at the things you do.
