So it's about time this Newfie (that'd be I) showed the world just how well we Newfies can play

I just found out I'm paired against another NM from Ottawa, Lloyd Mai. His rating is one point lower than my previous opponent (2239). Wish me luck... I have Black for a second game in a row!

Will you be playing in the Summer Knights tournament?  There's no end of month tourney this month since a bunch of people will be gone, and instead Alick is starting a round robin like the Winter Rounds.

How long have you been playing?

I just got back from Montreal. I finished with an even score of +3 -3 =2 with one bye. Considering I was ranked very close to last in the section, an even score is pretty good

I'll post some of my games soon. First I need to enter them onto my database... it will be a day or two.

Twan: No, I won't be playing in the Summer Knights tournament... I was gone too long from St. John's to be able to get all my games in. I'll let someone else win it this year
