We must keep CC and they better keep Cano happy too. He is only signed for 2 years. Paying a declining A-Rod twice what Cano makes, doesn't seem wise. Does paying Swisher 10 million make sense? I like the guy, but he couldn't get that money on the free market. He'd be lucky to get offered 4 million anywhere else. That 10 million could help keep Cano and CC. We could get by with Nunez in RF until Jeter has to go to the OF. I don't like the idea of throwing money at CJ Wilson. ( Another Lackey?) I like Noesi to the rotation and Hughes to the pen. 

I guess that's why I'm no GM. The Yanks obviously felt Swish was worth the 10 million. Well, he's fun to watch. And he's certainly due to hit in the post-season.

There is no doubt Cano is the best player on the Yanks and he has been for two whole years now. Teixeira may have big problems with decreased bat speed and a humongous uppercut that recquires spot-on timing for success.
