Bases loaded twice with one out and score only once. Ouch. Well, congrats to the Tigers, but couldn't someone manage a sac fly?

Congrats to the Bronx Bombers on their 17th AL East Championship! Way to go Jorge Posada on the clutch 2 out hit in the bottom of the 8th to seal the deal!!

The Yankees need C.C. to set the tone tonight! If the Yanks can rock the Tigers by taking game 1, I like our chances against Fister and Sherzrer in games 2 and 3. I also like the idea of keeping Robbie Cano in the three hole and Tex dropping to the fifth spot. ( Too many strikeouts and weak pop ups by Tex in potential RBI situations this year.)

Tremendous 7 game run to achieve a tie for First Place in The East, but it will mean little if we do not beat those bleepin' Red Sox in Fenway this weekend. Time for another Boston Massacre ( the one in 1978, not the one in 1775).

Congrats to Robbie & Jose Cano dramatically beating Adrian Gonzales with a record 12 HRs in the final round!

Wow, what a performance by the Yankee Captain! 5 for 5 with an HR for hit number 3000 and a game winning base hit and RBI in the bottom of the 8th. Dramatic, a performance for the ages. At 37 years old, he's still got it!
This week our Yankees are back in action. The starting pitching has me concerned, but I am looking forward to Jeter's countdown to 3000 hits. Go Yanks!!!

Anyone seen that new rookie/prospect pitcher yet? Saw him throw on YES last night vs. the Bosox. Looks like the real deal!
