Maybe Matthew simply doesn't appreciate jibes involving chess parables - and why should he spend time on leagues that don't submit reports? If you want to get the Calderdale ball rolling on there Dennis, then just ask him to open a page - I'm sure he would!
Non compos mentis? Persona non grata???

Which leads to the question, If Mathew is short of time, why spend time REMOVING facilities from one group and not another?
Last season postings had been made on the Calderdale section.

Why is it that all the stirring seem to come from the same direction? That to me hints that the issue lies with the promoter rather than with those that so frequently voice against it. Food for thought?

Good point Carlos. I'll be seeing Matty tomorrow at the Bradford A v Doncaster match; maybe I'll tactfully suggest something...

Why does eveyone choose to walk round what I say and go onto something else?
Carlos, there was no stirring on Evening all. The only stirring on any topic I have posted concerned the Harrogate v Central match, there was no stirring intended on the original post then, that just developed!
When the YCA site set up last year, every association had a facility for posting reports, I did one on Calderdale.
I tried to post a report on the Huddersfield section. No luck after several attempts, so asked a question(maybe prolonged but certainly not obscure).
The result, a personal attack from Matty, then Peter(his team mate) crossing the ball from the wing.
I stopped playing in Bradford because of one of Mathew's team mates efforts, seems the plan is to get me to stop alltogether(and succeeding).
Evening all. Made a post of very few words on the YCA site
http://yorkshirechess.org/forums/topic/evening-all
Since then, on that forum I have been accused of irrelevance and other things(though not sure what, somebody told me illegal fishing- think the're wrong.)
My original point was to point out that I could not post a report on the Calderdale v Wakefield match, as hard as I tried.
I pointed my arrow everywhere, the nearest I came was Bradford League. On the assumption the fault was mine, I posted(what I thought was a humorous enquiry) Evening all.
Suddenly my sanity is thrown into question! An attack from Matty is followed by an adverse comment from one of his team mates.
Since then comments have been posted on that subject without question to their relevance, so I ask myself;
"Non compos mentis?"
"Not guilty!"
"Persona non grata?"
"Shit, ask me the other one again!"
