All this agro over the Hepolite in Bradford got me thinking, do people suggest ridiculous rules so that they can(with a little help from their friends) bend rules.
I composed a little skit, on Ihor's site, to satirise this entitled 'OLLIEGARCHY'- next day deleted. My comment of "hang the executive" is still there-so far!
Anyway judge for yourselves. This is probably not exact.
'OLLIEGARCHY'

"Where's Bradford?"
"Massychew......."

"Why,Ollie?"
"I think we should become a trio"
"Like a skiffle group?"
"No, this fella, Julian, has some brilliant material."
"As good as mine?"
"Better! Listen to this!"
"New rule proposed by Julian Toothill- Teams who default a match in the Hepolite Cup/Plate will have the 6 players who have played most league matches for that club that season only eligible to play for that clubs teams in that division or higher in the cup and plate for that season.
Rule 40 still applies"
"It's funny, Ollie, but where's the punch line?"
"Passed by majority vote!!!"
