Yes. They removed them....
Old lessons removed?

That sucks. I spend all my time on chess.com on lessons... I bought a subscription specifically so I wouldn't have a limit to how many I could do per day. Not sure what I'm going to do now because I'm mostly too impatient to watch the videos and I don't have a pair of headphones to listen to them while I'm in class.

All of the good/decent lessons from Old Lessons have already been migrated to New Lessons! You can still find the same courses in Mastery!

I've noticed over the last few days that there's a ton of the old lessons missing, and even if they weren't that good, they would be worthy of being transferred. Is there an archive where I can find the old lessons and continue what I was working on? I feel as if I'm going to finish the crumbs of what's left of the old lessons in a few days, and I'm not sure what else to do with my subscription when I'm done wth them.

Sorry - the old lessons are all gone. We have more than 4000 lessons, and only kept the ones that meet our current quality standards.

There are a lot of posts in the main forum about this. People are threatening to cancel memberships over this.
I am surprised there is not more discussion here.

Same here. The value of diamond seems completely stripped because of this. I bought a full year subscription a month ago and now i feel it was for nothing. A lot of people used these lessons and the staff could at least declare that they were removing them at said date. I'm not very satisfied right now.

I'm pretty pissed about this -- the new lesson format is cumbersome, confusing, and limited. Sure maybe I'm just a gold member but when I joined the lessons were not so limited. I'm really not sure what I'm getting for my annual subscription anymore -- absence of ads? A few extra problems to solve? Sorry, but this is a step backwards. My review in the App store now reflects this. Come on guys, you can do better.

It would appear from these forums, Erik, that you made a serious miscalculation in removing the old lessons. I too enjoyed them, and I only recently reset the lessons so that I could start them over and do them more systematically. They couldn't possibly have taken up so much room on the server that they had to be removed, and the new lessons are a great complement to them. To say that the new lessons are a good replacement, though, is incorrect.
I think you have done your loyal members a grave disservice (for the first time in my memory) by removing these lessons.. From the beginning of my membership many years ago, I have delighted in every new change you have implemented. I have to say that this is the only change you've ever made that is a true disappointment.
If those lessons exist anywhere--and I'm sure they must--please put them back asap.

Very disappointed that the old lessons have been removed. There was an extensive collection on pawn endgames which I was about to re view. Please put these back!

I knew it was coming. Chess.com spares no effort in removing the good parts of the site, and making them worse.
I'm not sure whether the old lessons were removed or not (the non-video lessons where you get a rating) but when I went on my Chromebook this morning to try one of them, a red bar appeared at the top of my screen saying 'Old lessons removed.' I checked again to see if it was just a glitch but they're gone on my screen. This is my school Chromebook that I use in my spare time in class, but old lessons have always worked correctly and I'm not sure what exactly happened.
