We are going to add back the old lessons. Working on it! There were 119 "old" courses. We brought over 80+ of them (so, about 2/3 of them). From the remaining 36 courses, about half them are totally redundant to the new material, but since you all love them, there are 15-20 more we will recover. Thanks for your feedback!

That’s great! Part of the issue was also limiting advanced lessons for non-premium members. I can understand limiting the number of lessons, but not the level. That’s still a problem. Thanks for your attention.

Fair point! I should mention that we are returning to a "X per week" number of lessons, regardless of level, so as a Gold member you will get X per week, but from any level.

Thanks for saying that. I feel sad when people say we don't care. We do... so much. It's just hard to please everyone all of the time. There are so many choices, compromises, and challenges in running a site as large and complex as Chess.com. We're doing our best and working hard every day!

The lessons are coming back and the site will be moving back to the x/day lessons for different membership levels.
