The drop down signifies what happens when you click the button to submit your move. So you are in fact 'clicking something'. Nothing wrong with having an option to make it explicit that you stay on your current game.
Online Chess issue
You're right, it does work that way...evenyually . I guess I'm used to the more instant response of sites like Google and even the old non-beta site was quicker.
I still don't see the need for a NO-OP choice on chess.com. Why should I need to do something to do nothing?
Keep up the good work though!!
PS: how do I sign in and sign ut of the Brta version? Overnight the Beta version went away.

I thought I explained that pretty clearly.
Some people (I happen to be one of them), when they SUBMIT a move, want the screen to stay on the current game. That is, therefore, one of the choices. As I already said, you ARE doing something. You are submitting a move.
If this still isn't clear, I will try one last time:
AT THE TIME YOU SUBMIT A MOVE, the next thing that happens on your screen can be one of the following:
1. Go to the next ready game; or
2. Go to my games; or
3. Stay on the current game.
WHAT is the thing about chess.com providing option 3 that gives you such great problems?

To get back to the beta go to:

well...hard to say. It just seems like an unnecessary waste of prime internet real estate.
When I make a move all I want to know is: how do I get to MyOnline Chess or the mext game if I'm playing a lot of games. Which, in the old version, was handlrd by a "Next Game" button and "plsy"->"Online Chess" from either the toolbar or the usual dusplay. I vote for the original dusplay.
P: you DID want our opinions right?
I give up.
And your "issue" has nothing to do with the redesign. The drop down with the one entry that offends you so greatly is the same in the old and the new. If there actually were no reason to have an option to stay on the current game, then that would have also been the case in the "original display".
Which would beg the question about why you didn't complain about that option before the redesign, but I'm not really interested.
it is true that the "Next Game" button is no longer there, but that appears to be an oversight (I can't see any other reason why it would be missing).
PP: I don't know who "our" is, but yours, no.
When I am plying one of my onine games and I want to go to the next ready game where it's "MyMove", none of the 3 options in the oval drop down work. If I remember correctly the options are something like: "Go ro next Ready Game", "Go To MyOnline Chess", "Stay on this Game".
Additionally, why would I need an option to do nothing. If I want to stay on the current game I wouldn't be looking for somethiing to click
