For adaptation to 4PC, a few rules will be altered:
Offerings (indicated by the walls) cannot be used as mounts for the quetzals. Since this version uses more pawns, the pawns circled brown may be used as mounts for the quetzal, but not to capture if not all pieces on that diagonal or file/rank have moved at least once.
The river will be moved to the ninth rank from each player’s perspective.
