Yes, compound king isn't allowed. For reason mentioned by @TheUltraTrap (technically, 1 full normal army can easily beat 1 royal Amazon, but anyway). King remains the king during the whole game. Then we have new question - what to do with pieces captured by king?

I also forgot about 10th type of moves - pawn promotion. So, let's say, promotion is 8th=QRBN, in mega pawn each pawn promotes to same piece (for mega pawn 9th and 10th are also promotion ranks).

I have another question, is it allowed to coumpound a pawn? If a pawn is compounded, Is it allowed to promote or atleast en passant?

I think you can take 4 pawns with 1 piece and form mega pawn (or merge pieces that captured 1 and 3 or both 2 pawns)
