Hello Everyone! On this forum, I'll be sharing some opening ideas from my own studies of 1.e4 e5. If you would like to share games you have studied, or your own games from these opening variations please feel free to share or comment here. Hopefully we can all learn together!

User input survey: What would you all like to see here in terms of opening variations? Ideally I would like this forum to serve as something of an encyclopedia for King's Pawn openings, but I would really appreciate input and interaction so that I know my work/analysis is being used somehow productively. Unless there's a preference, I'll start by showing some of my own preparation from my repertoire with the white pieces (which starts with the Scotch Gambit). Thanks!

Hello everyone! This is the first installment of opening analysis/theory for the Scotch Gambit, an enterprising option for white against 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6. In this first investigation, I'll cover the most common sidelines that black can try after 4.Bc4. Italian Game players can also learn something from this section of analysis, as I cover some old transpositional lines that contain some interesting possibilities for white though they appear sterile. In the next intallment, I'll cover the mainlines of the Anderssen Attack and Max Lange Attack (arrived at via the Scotch Gambit move order), which are very exciting options for white to play for not only an advantage, but sharp positions with the initiative. Let me know if you have questions about my notes here and I will do my best to answer questions and make edits as necessary.
