Openings

A very positional opening if thats what your looking for is the english. However if your newer to chess I wouldn't play it because its very complicated and you wont learn how to play against e4 and d4 as fast.

Sodium is best statistically speaking... Also because it's so odd most people don't defend correctly.

The ones fit your style and results in positions that you enjoy playing. Any opening can be hard work but if you like what you play, it won't be labor.

I play the Kings Indian Attack, I think it’s great for beginners. It doesn’t have a ton of theory and the primary attacking idea is really simple.

If you're looking for a positional opening Queen's Gambit will do you well, there's basically a system you can play to get a similar position in every QGD game
It requires a little studying of QGD, Slav, QGA, and KID lines, but the former 3 are fairly intuitive to play
(You could go for London setups, if You're A DEGENERATE)
