otb tournaments

I started playing a month ago

I started playing OTB since late 2018, so about almost 3 years ago. I have had luck in some tournaments and in some, not a lot of luck. I do not know which tournament was where I performed best, but hey... here I am, at 1221 USCF rated.

I once played a tournament where i beat a 1580 a 1313 and a 1770 when i was 1200 and i went to 1400

Logan, I in directing over 2,100 USCF Tournaments, I have seen a few dozen instnces when the lowest rated seed in a champioship U1200 section, some 10+ players won the section.

Point is, most often the difference between 1200 and 1700 is less than the minor piece
sometimes blundered. 

I started playing in prehistoric days when laptops, cellphones, ipads, the internet, electronic
notation devices, and Game/30 USCF regular rated games did not exist. Online chess at the time was not even dreame about.
