Yeaah.... It makes me post my best KG game too! I would be grateful if someone would analyse it :-D
I think he realized that I was a "blundering" type so that he played weak and tame moves. Seems he is too materialistic, doesn't he?

Really instructive game. And like you said of the opera game, I think Morphy'd take that pawn if he were you! The spruced up game you showed us with really justified and aggressive turn points are very instructive! Get along the Enterprising play, JETFIGHTER!!!
I don't really have anything worth showing as most of my wins with KG are due to black blundering severely. All the same I thought I'd share this self inflicted queen trap with you just for entertainment value.
P.S. It's ok to laugh at me for missing obvious ideas, mates in one and what have you ;D
Not the best, not by a long shot, but I posted 4 KGs on this forum thread.
As I mentioned before somewhere, I really like your style Batgirl. It's pretty cool to see how you've honed your skills as well -quite inspirational. :)
Declined variation without 2. ...Bc5 - rather weak IMO, the Bc5 is somewhat harder to crack. As per usual, your comments, criticism, ideas for different lines and whatnot are most welcome.
Apparently Seymour is new to chess.com - I managed to nick about 100 points off him there, being VERY careful as he was 50 points above me. Hmm. Tricky business, this chess psychology thing :)
Good game!
Black made some questionable moves and you took full advantage of them. To me, Black's totally losing move was 8...d5, allowing the attack on the Queen. After that is was all downhill for Black. Another bad move wasn't so obvious, but 16...Ng4 gave away Black's one last resource. If he had taken on d3 with check, then after 17. cxd3 Rg6, Black could have recovered the Knight with 18 . . .Qxb5 while threatening d3.
On move 14, White could have forked the Queen and Knight with the simple d5, but who can argue with the text move?
Here is a quick one at 10 minute time controls. I also played a similar one on online chess, but this one had a cute twist to it. I know, it's hardly a strategic masterpiece. Am I wrong to get immense pleasure from such games?
That's the danger with Qh4+ in the Bishop's Gambit. With the Queen exposed such all the tactics seem to be in White's corner. Black can avoid them, but White does get adequate compensation for relinquishing the ability to castle and, as shown, even for sacking a piece (Nc3 was such a deviously clever little move).
I feel that since we are all KG fans here we need to post our wins somewhere.
here is one of my better games with it.
