I am not so sure of the mathematical explanation for this paradox...but the way i heard it...the turtle raced the hare and it was the hares ego that allowed the turtle to win the race...

This is not the same idea?...what is it that you are refering to?
They are similar, I think, but not the same.
They both are stories about a race.
Yet the Race between Hare and Tortoise talks about diligence and consistency(slow but sure); while the Race between Achilles and the turtle describes the logical problem oof Achilles never able to catch up to the turtle

Duck an extremely greasy bird not despite the fact they are all dark meat. Cook them as you would any another bird. I have not eaten any for many years now. Will set up a vote chess game if their is any interest!

Of course a famous one would be the race between Achilles and the tortoise. The story goes that Achilles gave the tortoise a headstart. But then Achilles could not overtake the tortoise because once he covered half of the distance, he still had half to go. And once he covers half the remaining distance, he'd have half of that to go, and so on. What do you think?
