There have been pending puzzles more frequently lately. So rated puzzles are limited based on the subscription. Learning puzzles, the ones without clock or rating are unlimited or have a different counter.
So since the pending puzzles don't affect the rating (they give +1 no matter what), could they then not count towards the total of rated puzzles, so they don't waste the slots of the rated puzzles one has available for the day since, well, they're not really rated. Maybe they already don't affect the total, I haven't counted, speaking of which, could there be a counter of how many you've done? So for example if you have 25 available and have done 20, it'd show 20/25 so you know you have 5 left. And if the next one is a pending puzzle, it would stay at 20/25.
I see your point. We are adding ~1000 new puzzles per week. So for some time its probable that you will see some new puzzles but after a bit of time it will get more and more rare as the pool of puzzles is bigger.
