I've had too many 'partners' who play solo -- no communication, no response to move suggestions. Perhaps the ability to select partners should be extended to the unwashed masses.

no one plays it because it's a bunch of butt holes that want to tell people how and where to move, every move then they get mad when u dont do it, they took all the fun out of it, i just play free for all, i got tired of arguing with these clowns, messing up my fun chess time with their ignorance and vulgar language

Strange, @Godtont, I would say "ignorance and vulgar language" about FFA. Players are much more polite and respectful in Teams usually. In FFA I stop chat in most of the games when they start swearing or teaming up. In Teams I never wanted to stop it.

@babyagun some hint here and there is cool, or even just say lets attack a certain color, but some of these people just messed up my peace with the team play, and i understand what ur saying about the ffa comments but it changed a lot, i dont see all the ignorance and vulgar language anymore than god lol

I believe you that FFA chat may be better now than before. Still people often write topics and notes about vulgarities in FFA chat, for example, https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/vulgarities-in-chat posted 1 day ago. The chat screenshot was deleted (by moderators I think). I do not remember similar topics about Teams chat. In any case, even if they exist, they are rare.

also do not add anything good to the FFA reputation.
Yesterday and today it took very long to start a Teams game. I looked at the Top Games list a moment ago now and there are only 7 Teams games (28 players), other players play FFA (26 games, 104 players). There are 1100+ games in the Top Games list now, so you can not say "there are lots of players, just their games are not in the Top Game list".
What happened? Is FFA more interesting? Are you frustrated with random teammates? Do you always lose your Teams games in 5-7 moves and do not believe you can play better? Other reasons?
P.S. The server says: 267 Online. But only 132 are playing. What do the others (135) do? Peeking through a keyhole?
They are definitely not waiting for a game in a long queue, because the server shows 1-2 empty arrows during the matchmaking process.
