This is why the live music I think was better, very improvisational. Go to what they call Dicks Picks and all of the offerings are of the live shows. This is acreature that I fail to understand its purpose the rat. I read an article years ago in the Geographic where the only things that survived the nuclear blasts on the Bikini islands when they were testing them were rats but they became super rats. Wow that is disgusting!
Pets you keep

Oh my, super rats! Those could be the grandaddy's of those right here. Evading traps, avoiding poison, outliving cats! But I'm hatching a plan, Chief. Will get on it as soon as all Christmas decorations are up.
So Dick's Picks, Chief? Will search for it.
It's the 29th already here, and I wonder what Gordon's celebration will be like.

Hi folks. Very quiet celebrations. I'm 58 now and happy just to be healthy and secure, kids all grown up and left home.

Again my congratulations to Gordon for having reached this stage in life. May he continue to give original insights!
Now for mmy plan, Chief. Here, they still make large wash nasins out of steel, maybe similar to roofing material. If flattened out, it may have a diameter of over a meter. My plan is to flatten it, shape it into a shallow "V", fix it steady to the ground, line it with oil or grease, place bait in the center above the grease, mmaybe in a small wire cage. Even now I expect vermin fertilizer for our mango tree!

Well it is a fact dust to dust! Baiting them would be good getting them in a trap. I have used hav a hart traps in the past to catch stoats who sneek into the chicken coop and create havoc. Unfortunately when caught they are still alive and then I had to deal with that.

It is a wire cage trap that catches whatever creature alive and then you have to decide what to do with it,they come in a variety of sizes. I never used one on rats but I have used them to catch stoats, weasles and even fairly large raccoons.

I could use a larger-than-average hart trap, Chief. But I'm concerned the dog or birds might trigger it

Yes it is a possibility but set it out at night. If a domestic animal gets in,you just let them out unharmed! Like I said they come in really large sizes but they are fairly expensive. Happy rat hunting!

Bokek, you might also look for a fox, or rat terrier. Probably neither has the pedigree of a Jack Russell, so might be much cheaper or even free. A fox terrier was our family pet when I was a kid, and she was extremely territorial nd protective.

I once drank a mouthful of water by my bed in the dark and had a cockroach scuttling round my mouth.
Oh, Chief, you should have told me outright it was 2-album set! Got to wondering if 33 rpm could hold that much music.
Anyway, the first part sounded jazzy-bluesy to me, not really my cup of tea; the reason why I rarely listen to Metheny or Spyra.
The second part was ok, like Grand Funk or Led Zep. Do they have other albums which sound like this?
Saw a neighbor walking his German Shepherd this afternoon. For a minute I recalled when we had our own; then remembered how the animal suffered on hot days, and pesky fleas!
Finishing off rats is something we've done, too, Chief. Notably when one was trapped in a pail of water. I think that time clubbing was the preferred mode
