Phoenix Chess League (PCL) vote chess results

Hi everyone,

It is getting hard for me to remember all of the PCL vote chess games for - King of the Hill Team - , so I thought I would make this forum.

We are in Season 1 (fast 960) against seven other clubs. Here are the games, ordered by round #:

So, in summary, other than the GE-Winners game, things went well.

1) Chess Pineapples: we won by resignation (https://www.chess.com/votechess/game/339413)

2) The Snakes of Chess -TSoC-: we won (https://www.chess.com/votechess/game/340669)

3) Europe National Team: we won (https://www.chess.com/votechess/game/342965)

4) The Ge-Winner: we lost (https://www.chess.com/votechess/game/344743)

5) Kasparov Chess Club: we won (https://www.chess.com/votechess/game/346583)

6) CLUB OF FRIENDSHIP: won by forfeit

7) Universal Club Of All Countries: won by forfeit

We have won the group. The playoff against another group winner is next.

Chess Pineapples resigned after blundering their bishop in season 2 (updated above).

We are in first place in season 2. We are the only team that hasn't lost. GE-Winner lost to Kasparov Chess club.

updated some season 1 games with our easy win over Chess.com vs. ChessKid

updated (above) with our draw against Liesa the cheater and our loss to GE-Winner. It looks like we will finish 2nd.

we won against Europe National Team (see updated comment #1) and now, if Europe National Team lose or draw against Kasparov Chess Club, we win the division and will play one of the other group-winners in a semi-final. Here is that remaining game:

It looks like Europe National Team has lost their queen.

Kasparov Chess club won. So, we have won the group and are on to the playoffs.

We are planning to resign against GE-Winner. We didn't get enough votes (3) on one move and they were split 1-1-1. The most recent of the three was a blunder and it cost us the game. But really, the lack of participation cost us the game. There is no way we should only have one vote for the selected move in a league game.

We won against Space Aliens to end season 1 of 960. For season 2 of standard chess, we will have a playoff against another group winner. I will update this when I learn more.

Chess Bombers is going to win one of the other three groups in Fast Chess Season 2 (so might have to play them).
