Is there an a place where chess players regularly play in RI?  Especially for a newbie (but an oldie) like me?

I don't know of any place where chess players regularly play other than in chess clubs, libraries, or at someones house.  If someone out there knows of a place, please let us know where.

Blackstone Chess Center at 250 Main Street, Pawtucket RI. They're on the web. I haven't been there yet.

Best place to play, best competetion, best area etc... is at 201 Wayland avenue, Providence RI, Saturdays from 3-8 chess tournament, David Pruess of chess.com himself paid a visit there recently and thats gotta mean something. Chessmaster Connections is located in Wayland sq, Providence RI(east side next to brown U)

NM ilusha is correct about the club in wayland...top players, top conditions but forget about discussing chess without "top bucks"..for the penny pincher there is rochambeau branch of the library every saturday start at 12..free to play..blackstone is great too but again..money. the coffee exchange on thayer is a great place to blitz ( even the owner plays!!) but the schedule is coordinated amongst players..just hit me up an ill start the calls!!

I'm interested in playing some otb games as well... Just looking for casual play and help with analysing games. Is there any other places people get together to play in RI? Coffee shops or anything?
