Hello, everyone. Today I will be starting a series of forum posts called "Player Breakdowns" where I talk about a player and what they did/how they play in KOTL. For the first one, I will be talking about Nubby.
NubbyCheeseking joined KOTL at the end of Season 1: Revamped. His first game was A Glitch in the System, and he was quickly known as a pacifist player that was willing to sacrifice points for the good of the group. He was one of the two players awarded at the end of the game by the Jester, which is a great accomplishment for his first game.
His second game was MM, and this was an interesting game for him. His main strategy involved staying in his house and setting traps. His traps succeeded on damaging the aggressive heartless, who was CN. Nubby survived to the very end of the game, with three players left. Nubby, Typewriter, and Hitthepin(who was the murderer). He was basically confirmed to be innocent and was faced with the decision of siding with Pin or Type. He backstabbing Pin while he was attacking Type, killing him and ending the game. It was in this game that his strong alliance with Type was formed.
Game three was Escape the Island, a new style of game never tested before. Nubby followed the Fisherman ending for basically the whole game, and scored very well, coming in second overall in points.
His final game in KOTL was Battle Royale: Wild Goose Chase. He quickly started off working together with Typewriter and survived far into the game, getting several kills on others. The final 5 was reached and Nubby was still alive. He only needed one more person to die and he would come in second place once again. At this point, Nubby was in first place on the ladder, 7 points ahead of second place, who was CN. He managed to hang on even with multiple people attacking him and survived the full game.
It was at this point that Nubby stopped playing and created his own KOTL, King of the Noobs. I won't dive too deep into it, but Nubby started off with a bang, having over 1000 posts per day for the first few days. Sadly, on the third day, he was hit with a creative block and had trouble creating more rooms. He took a break and has recently revamped it with a new Battle Royale game that is performing well so far.
DISCLAIMER: Yes, I know he has played in a couple of the more recent games, but I was basically done when that happened and I didn't want to go through two more games. Sorry.
