Player lists in clubs and departures

Wouldn't be helpful to have a list by players with the number of clubs they are members of. Also a seperate list of players who "QUIT" clubs so administrators know not to invite them? Basically you really do not want players who are we say are overexposed and cannot dedicate playing and those who are not loyal.

Players who quit clubs are not tracked, and it would not be a useful stat as there are many reasons to leave a club.

Some join one day and quit within a week and don't give a CLUB a chance.  Want to avoid inviting people who have 20+ clubs as many of them are inactive players.

Some of that is joining a club, looking around to see if they like it, and then leaving if they don't.  That's giving your club more of a chance than the people who simply don't join.

I don't see much reason to maintain such a list. It could be very misleading to categorize individuals based on behavior in online clubs and groups. There are an infinite number of reasons an individual might do certain things.

We don't really know who people are and one person might have numerous IDs and can leave and come back as someone new and maybe they got clean and sober and turned their life around and found god or gave birth or had surgery or got married or divorced or run over by a car.

If someone causes trouble in my clubs I kick them out and I remember who they are and if they come back with a different ID and avatar then that's ok because  I probably won't know that and it doesn't matter much because if they caused trouble the first time they will probably cause trouble again and get kicked out again and if they don't then that's fine.

Just basic information does not hurt anyone. If player "A" is a member in 50 clubs I probably would not invite them because of overexposure. If player "B" has 10 clubs but has quit 15 previous clubs shows myself he doesn't really know what they want. I want loyal and active participants..

In another site in which I have clubs I get a message when players join or leave a club.   It is very useful.

When they join they are welcomed.

When they leave I follow up why if I don’t already know.

I think it would be good here to have this information.

Sounds even better idea if people are offended by lists. Perhaps a drop down window on club members section, former members?

When someone joins my clubs they are given a friendly welcome and an invitation to make use of the resources the club has available.

When someone quits, I do not follow them because I believe that is basically stalking.

If I were to ask them why they quit, I would not expect to get a completely truthful or useful answer. It's really none of my business what people decide to do. And I doubt that I would want to change the club because of someone who quit the club. If someone makes a suggestion or a request as an active member, I am far more likely to be responsive to that.

I have had people tell me, without my asking, why they were quitting the club, and it has always seemed to me that the club is probably better off without them and vise-versa.

No club can be all things to all people.

It isn’t stalking.  I have never had problems.  Some don’t answer.  Some say why.  Some even have issues which can be fixed.
I think it is nice if when you join you get welcomed and when you leave someone notices.  In a polite way of course.  Just asking for feedback.

I had asked a couple of departures and they never responded.

Avatar of Kookaburrra

Many don’t respond.

Avatar of wormrose

Why should they?

Avatar of Kookaburrra

Sometimes they do.  It is just polite to follow up departures IMO.

No. It is not polite. It is predatory behavior. They are trying to get away from you and you are persisting in following them and pestering them with unwanted questions.

IMO a single follow-up is OK, as long as you don't press them.

The list was only meant as information for those who recruit players to their club.

I don’t think so.  I am not predatory in the least.  Most of the members of my clubs at least the smaller ones I know.   And I am polite and respectful.
Happy and understand if they want to leave.
