Ok, im creating my first character. I choose to rolled 3d6 12 times and choose the best 6. Now, here are what i rolled!

Please help me choose which of the numbers i should use and where!  Thanks in advance!

ok, i still reading hehe... Elf, Mage/Thief... Is that posible? Is that recomendable? 

I have played an Elven mage Thief before...  and  I have played straight up thieves before, which edition did you decide to use?

I thought that is what you really wanted.  Arrange stats accordingly.  Roll the rest of your stuff. (Hp gold etc.)

the book says: Elf - Dex +1 Con -1

I don't remember the exact attribute requrments for rangers off the top of my head, I believe elves get +1 dex, -1 con.  So you need to put what fits for the requirments.  Since your rolls are fairly similar, the rest isn;t that important.  (12-15 generally have no bonus or penalty)  Get your dex as high as possible (you are an elf that is what they do) I like to keep Charisma higher as well.   

but what that means?... if I put 15 in constitution i will have 14?

Yes, that is what it means.

so, for ranger i need 14 in cosntituion, then i'm obligated to use my 15 roll in constitution! Right?

Here we go...

Race: Elf

Class: Ranger

Str: 13

Dex: 13

Con: 15 -1 = 14.. So i have to wrote 14, right?

Int: 12 ... My elf is a moron! hehehe

Wis: 14

Cha: 12

Oh, and the Dex is 14... so, if i need 13 for Dex, i can use one of my 12# rolls for Dex, because i have +1... Right?
