OK, the iPod and the Android work completely differently

Where-as on the iPod you can plug in and go onto iTunes either on the iPod itself or on the web, with the Android it doesn't work that way.

On your screens, there will be something called Market  (Looks like a white bag with a small green icon on it)

Click on that.

The MarketPlace is the Android version of iTunes.

You don't need to sync the Android, the apps you download come straight to the Android itself.

Like iTunes, alot of the apps on MarketPlace are either to buy, or free.

When you're in MarketPlace, use the search function and enter in Chess.com

That then shows the app we have on there. Click on Install.

Once its installed, go back onto your main android home screen. Look in the top left corner there will be a little icon there. Place your finger on that icon and drag down  (sliding that down).

It then shows you the app you're installing.

Thanks for the help but that's not what I mean. I have a lead to connect the tablet up to my PC but when I plug it in it does not install the drivers correctly. so where can I get  software or drivers for this. thanks in advance

Is this for transferring files?

On my HTC Hero phone I use FTPServer (free from the MarketPlace) to transfer files to/from my PC.  I assume that would work with a tablet too as it just uses a FTP transfer.  Easier than having to plug in a cable each time.
