Please offer a way to switch between designs...

The new one is kind of hard to navigate, and really unnecessary by chess.com. I can see 3d elements that were tried in these images, but they do not at all look good. If there's anyway to revert back to the normal mode, please make it possible soon...

Leave the beta then...

There's a way,; leave beta. This new navigation will eventually replace the main one and this is being tested in beta first.

This is a huge improvement. Just have to get used to the change. You'll get used to it eventually and come to like it. At first I disliked the design elements when they introduced what was called v3, but it turned out to be a huge improvement when all said and done.
