I hate asking for this as the founder was a friend of mine.  I'm one of the SAs in Peace Loving Chess Warriors and I am increasingly finding it difficult to manage the club by its tools, for example being able to control what is a sticky or should remain in the forums.  I have been streamlining the membership but have kept dear Aniket (not that I have the choice) who has not played since May 9, 2018.  The message I received when I tried to demote him to Admin in order to gain access to the tools told me to request you to remove him.    Please help.

To make forums sticky you don't have to be the founder. Also, can you tell who exactly you're talking about? (Give the full username of "Aniket")

Learn how to use the tools instead of blaming the founder. 😉

ProphetessMio, the founder is not removed just made inactive.  so, he will remain founder and can be reinstated.  I was glib in my original post, so i'm sorry to mislead you.  Also, Aniket and I were close and he had been giving me many messages that hinted that he was not going to be able to continue playing even to the extent where he wrote to me 'I am leaving the club in good hands.' 

But I would have prefered that instead of scolding me you had told me how to find and use the Forum tools I require.

Its very simple, open the forum you want to stick and use the options in the right tool bar

Oh, you mean that menu at the bottom which lets you unstick a post, et cetera?  I'll give that a try   I don't know why I didn't see it last time.   Is this option available to everyone or just SAs?

Okay, if I have access to all the tools available, I don't need to have the founder demoted.  Mio, I am a member of Admin's Corner and Training Club and I asked about the forum tools there...no response.

You need to read more carefully, Mio. 4D was asking for help on how to use the tools and was NOT asking to have the founder removed.

Theo maybe you read more carefully the title of this blog? 

The title stated clearly in the forum: Please remove founder from the club.

As there was some misunderstanding in this as 4D's said on post #6 and Mio answered it correctly on post #7 so she didn't do anything wrong.  Founder and SA have the same access to admin tools.
