Yeah my friend discovered that in an older update!
Who remembers my world with seed -12? I made a new one with the same seed, and I entered a cave and mined coal when a creeper came out. I killed it, with just a stone sword. I was then mining nearby iron when a skeleton popped out! It had an enchanted bow too! I killed it but was down to half a heart. After that I ran back home, cooked some beef I got from cows, and made leather boots, my first armor. There's more ores in the cave so I plan to go back after I get more armor.
That is great! Today I got attacked by 3 ghats in 1 minute! First i was fightnign one, no biggy, then another one comes, then another! Luckily, Peaceful mode saved me with half a heart left!
A guy betrayed my faction on a server then he killed me. Also, my tekkit faction got griefed yesterday, and I had a creeper walk through a wall on the minecraft server...And I played on 2 hunger games servers and made it to the deathmatch on my second games (:
And I do my best to imitate tobuscus on minecraft, he's my role model XD

Yeah I do too! I raided my own faction today because one of them betrayed us, abusing the /f mod commands, and unclaiming my chest area and using the LockPick plugin to steal all my stuff! I then struck back by unclaiming all of my facs land, then stealing all the chests!
