Post Your Games or part of games

Thought it might be fun to post some games you've played or part of games you've played for everyone's viewing pleasure.  You can post glorious games, or not so glorious games, but either way, it's a good way for everyone to learn from victories and mistakes.

That last post was a joke. Here is my best and worst games. I think.

Heres my shortest game, which I lost.  Lesson: don't play a risky gambit opening if you don't know what your doing when you play it!

This game was not without errors, but from moves 25 on, I got aggressive (it was a live game, so the heat was on) and he missed my upcoming check mate.  See if you can see it at moves 25-26, and hint: it's not a smother mate.

I haven't analyzed the game yet, but he probably could have avoided check mate if he had played differently.

Played against a superior player, and he had me for sure. He made a huge blunder and I was able to mate him.  Lessons learned: don't get careless even when you are clearly up on another player, and stay vigilant even when you are down, and you may be able to pull out a win.

I was playing black and almost resigned at this point, but because this was a live game I knew that my opponent was starting to stress over his time and so I played it out.  I pulled out a win here and there is no way I should have, especially after he moved his bishop to d8, which at that point, it was game over if he would have just stuck with his plan.
Two lessons from the end of this game.
1.  If you are up positionally, don't be bullied.
2.  If you are down positionally, try to bully.
If you are white, how do you pull out the win?  How do you respond to the attack on your rook (moves #49 and 50).

I destroyed this guy who was ranked about 100 pts higher than me before the match.  When I beat him he called me a "sand bagging 1265 liar"  I told him to look at my record, that I've never been able to get my score above 1300.

Many times, my goal with higher ranked players is to (a) trade down evenly to get to an endgame quickly or (b)play weird openings they aren't familiar with.

Since I was black, I went with plan (a), and when I got my queen involved, I torched him good.  Lesson: if you bring the queen into the game at just the right moment, you can light 'em up like a Special on a Sunday night.

Good stuff people, keep it coming!

Lately I've been playing the King's gambit and it's worked out quite well
I was at 1900 as white playing a 2000 player
