Posting content in club forums: Has something changed?

I tried to post quite a sizeable amount of content in a single forum post yesterday and the post-editor wouldn't accept it. I don't think it was any larger than other posts I've created recently but the only way it could be posted was to split it between two posts!

That gave me an uncomfortable feeling of déjà vu because this is how things used to be before about six or seven (/eight?) years ago when there was a strict limit on the size of a club forum post - around 65KBytes if i remember. There was never an equivalent limit on News, so I used to post stuff there instead but it wasn't ideal.

Has the site decided to bring that back and if so, why? It was a huge relief when that limit was relaxed because I could finally fit everything into one post instead of this messy splitting up.

Anybody else experienced this problem yet?

Here is my first of several forum comments about the issue on June 4: https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/club-redesign-five-questions-to-jdcannon?page=109&newCommentCount=1#comment-103246505

Have also sent a message to Support: They denied any modifications.

There has obviously been modifications.

@Kookaburrra: Yes, surely. Here is the last message, which I've received on June 12:

Have sent two more emails on June 12 ...

... and June 21:

There only "answer" was closing the conversation.

There's no question in my mind - something has changed recently.

Although I'm surprised that this goes back to early June because yesterday is the first time I experienced it and I post sizeable content each month. But what I was posting yesterday might have been slightly larger, not sure.

More likely it's due to different browsers: For me it was first Safari and later Firefox as well. If I remember well, you're using Chrome, right?
