Interesting... Gl!
/Pre-VU/ WoF - Fatty Queens
+1, great variant
The tactical depth here is pretty damn big, even with the small number of pieces and small board.
This really lends itself to sacrifices and pins and tricky decisions.
The only real problem here is how many people are confused when playing this for the first time.
I think the dead pieces should be kept since they lead to some extra considerations needed for your knight riders and pawns.
I do have some questions about why the pawns on the sides are stone generals instead of actual pawns or something else. Them being that never really played a role in my games, but it could very well be that I am just not playing this at a high enough level. If they are functionally identical to pawns, though, then it could maybe be nice to swap them for another piece just for that tiny amount of extra variety.
I also agree with this being good for both WoF and NCV

+4 for wof, +2 ncv. I think we can just PR this into WoF
Could it potentially be both at the same time? (WoF with hyper and bullet, NCV with blitz and rapid)?
it's +4 WoF +3 NCV..?
Wait no i change ncv vote. 6x6 is very small and long tc = you can calculate lines, so ncv -0
"You can calculate lines so ncv -0" is crazy. Calculating lines is one of the basic things you do in chess?
VU ID: #10030 (yea) (lol)
WoF - Fatty Queens
Time Control: 1|3 but will work with anything else
https://www.chess.com/variants/custom/game/95657370 is the cleaner version, but gameplay is barely different from the games in https://variants.world/posts/1837.
Could be a WoF, but it has complex gameplay so it could be played as an NCV.
Could also have hill, regicide and dead pieces in banks deleted, and have custom gamerules instead.

Noice WoF submission
