❗️❗️To submit a variant for review, follow these steps❗️❗️
You are limited to submit 2 variants per week (2 variants in a 168 hours time frame), unless you are submitting a <Pre-VU> variant.
1. Play 7 games of your variant. Unique players is not required, but strongly suggested. While it is not mandatory, it is recommended to play games with different experienced players, because low quality testing games cannot represent the same game-play as high quality ones.(For pre-VU submissions): You can provide one game's link instead.
2. Decide if your game type is:WoF: A fast-paced, fun variant to add in rotation arenas. These variants can be luck-based sometimes. These variants are only allowed to play in bullet, or hyper time control.NCV: A strategical, complicated, unique game to add in Playing server. NEV: A hyper-complicated variant to exist. These variants may be a little imbalanced in some situations.C8: A custom position that can be represent with analyze FEN. these variants should be played in club arenas.Modified: A modification to an another variant, whether accepted, declined, or not-submitted.
3. Write a useful and meaningful description. Requirement is at least 25 words.
Though, a high-quality description often requires 150 words, mostly more.
4. Click "Create forum". Then, write a forum name in this format:1. </Tag/> <Type> <Variant Name>
Tags of standard submissions:
/Pre-VU/ - submission which was created before the existence of variants universe.
/VU/ - submission which was created after the existence of variants universe.
/Festival/ - submission which has created within a festival, along with a festival-related concept.
Tags of Non-standard submissions:
/ViI/ - Variants in Imagination. For those game-rules, and pieces, which does NOT exist in server, you are able to submit it with explanation. These variants shall be submitted with special screenshots, but no game is needed. Though, these variants are not suggested to submit often. If the variant is accepted, it will be played in daily/vote chess games.EXAMPLECustom rules/pieces sheet
2. Add your variants' ID3. Post your testing games, description4. add a screenshot5. add "Status: Under Review".

After you submit your variant, we will update the status of your variant and will inform you when it will get a verdict.
