A few considers from @ChocoCaramelPawn:
1. This isn't better than Warui-shogi in any aspects
2. The variant doesn't seem to be complicated enough to exist as a listed NCV.

This is alright.
There are some slight problems with attacking being bad for you, since there is no real way to open up the position other than "sacrificing" a soldier.
There also isn't that much piece or strategy variety.
Agreed with the others that I would probably play Warugi-shogi or default crazy house chess over this.

How about changing this to WoF and making it "Pocket Shogi"
