Why should we be giving players with 0.2 seconds a chance? If you don't like the blunders, change it yourself! Don't ask to impose something on everyone, just because you are unhappy! 👎

It's not because I don't like the blunders, or that that example is unfair, I'm just saying that the proposed method in my article (and remember lichess.org has already made it work, so we know it can be done) I simply think the proposed system is better.

It's not because I don't like the you, or that that your forum is stupid, I'm just saying that the proposed method in your article that all stems from the fact you didnt realize it would be a blunder becuse you didnt think your move through (and remember lichess.org has already made it work, so we know it can be done), then go to LIchess adios amigo. Smply think the proposed system is. not needed .

i think you can set it too only let you make one premove in your settings

Only the Android app has that as an option. When iOS gets multiple it's possible it will as well.

But it's not better though

1. If a player is down on time (for example, one player has 0.2 seconds, and another has 2, it is usually impossible (depending on the position) for the player with 0.2 seconds to win with the current premove system. However, if premoves don't take any time, the player with 0.2 seconds has a chance.

2. Less chance for blunders because of premoves, like I showed in the game

If the site only has a single premove it's still unlikely a player with 0.2 seconds and 0 second premoves is going to win. Their reaction time once the opponent's next move comes in isn't likely to be good enough to make more than one or two extra moves over the current system.

2. YOU DIDN’T EVEN PREMOVE. In the screenshot in the game (I found it) you took 0.2 seconds to move. Premove only ever take 0.1 seconds. So you literally hovered the queen over that square and then didn’t look at the position before placing it there. ITS A YOU PROBLEM IF YOU CANT LOOK AT POSITIONS BEFORE YOU MOVE A PIECE! Anyway, only place yourself for this not chess.com. Thanks

you think that you can notice your opponent playing a move in 0.2 seconds?

i can

Maybe one solution could be : the player premoves a sequence hxg4 ... Qg4; and the algorithm would be: if not hxg4 then next moves are canceled.
