Many of us have been hoping for something like this for some years, so most welcome!

Since a number of club admins make use of the site's API, is there any chance of this topic being extended to problems with that as well?

Is there anything new on the vexed matter of muting admins?

Thanks, Sam. I do hope you have not been thrown to the wolves here and told "here, deal with this!" It shouldn't be the job of one individual to liaise with thousands of club admins, this is a team effort on all sides.

I really hope that a dialogue on equal terms can be achieved here! But it will be a difficult journey because Chess.com has destroyed a lot of trust over many months. So far there is only hope for the remaining administrators who support Chess.com with their self-sacrificing and unpaid work and even pay for it! We'll see, but every attempt, no matter how small, is worth it in the end (maybe!?)!

@Fantasto, I'm talking with the support team now, and there are some product improvements coming. I'll have an update by the end of the week! I know that's been irritating.

@stephen_33, API is probably a separate discussion, but there are some exciting developments in that space being tested now (mostly to support leagues). I would encourage anyone using the API to join the Developers club, and if you are interested in testing, let me know, and I may be able to connect you with the team on that.

Being muted has been more than irritating. I found it very stressful. Helping and getting muted for it.

There's also loopholing. Getting muted then leaving then rejoining.

I feel like Admins should be able to promote.

Just to clarify: when Kookaburrra says just to join she means team matches.

Yes. Daily team matches in join and messaging club members of clubs I am admin or super admin in. Same as others have. I’m not the only one.

But appart the terrible psychological shock of this kind of muting, the effect of getting muted (which is of course worse when it's a false positive like that) is the removal of all notes, topics and announcements. It's enough to kill a club and a league. We discussed about that in extenso , I hope it will be addressed.

So as I said, I'm happy to get finally some interaction with CC devs, in a way. Thank you Sam. And before talking added features to clubs many of us are really looking forward having things fixed, but you probably got that point.
