My clubs are in too many tournaments already, but it is a good idea.
Proposal: Daily960 Showdown

I think something simple like this is perfectly fine, and will go as a neat addition alongside the normal daily championship. Only thought I have though is that there might not be enough clubs to fill 3 divisions, and in that case, there should just be open.

want participate in all 3 divisions
This isn’t registration. This is just to discuss the idea.

"Swiss" means be a Live tournament?
No, the idea of Swiss tournaments has been extended to competitions, so that each round in our daily tournament is organized the way it would be for a Swiss live tournament instead of a bracket.

Instead of doing it by u1300, u1700, open, make the three divisions - open with 5+ players, open with 15+ players, and u1500 with 10+ players

Yeah why?

Specific details (I typed this in 1 minute, so it likely missed some stuff):
- 5 rounds, clubs organized according to Swiss
- 3 days per move, 960, minimum 5 players, start date specified at the start of each round.
- A leaderboard will be kept, a win gives 1 point, draws 0.5, and losses 0
- For CW League Points, a win gives 2, a draw gives 1, and a loss gives 0
- At the end, a leaderboard is organized. 1st place gets 10 League points, 2nd place gets 6, 3rd gets 4
- Tiebreakers will be organized like they were supposed to be during Water Tiger. Quoted from the Website:
-
In the event that at the end of the tournament two or more clubs have the same number of points CW staff will move over to a tiebreaker system. Here is the system.
If a team wins 2 or more rounds in a row they have obtained a streak. CW staff will determine tiebreaker points by which club had maintained the longer streak during the tournament.
If the tied clubs have played each other during the tournament then the side that won will take the higher place. However, if it was a drawn match the above system will be used to determine the tiebreaker points.
Other performance stats can be used such as which clubs the tied clubs have beaten/lost compared to the tied club.

Thoughts?
This will basically be in Swiss format. There will still be 3 divisions: U1300, U1700, Open. The matches must be 960. There will be 5 rounds. 3 days per move, minimum 5 players.
Thoughts?
