The play-offs work like this: in the case of 2 groups, 4 teams qualify, 2 per group, while if there are 3 groups then the first classified in each of the 3 groups are sufficient, if there are 4 the first four classified, one for group and if there are 5 in 5, six in six etc....Only if there are 2 groups the ranked teams are the first 2 of the 2 groups.
