TCMAC 2025-2026 SEASON REGISTRATION Announcing registration for the next season of Master 960 and Praetorian 960.  Both of these Chess 960 leagues are open to all ratings and require 10 players minimum.  Master has 3 days per move, but Praetorian has only 1 day per move. Clubs will be grouped into groups sized 4-8 (depending on registration) and play all other clubs in the group in a round-robin tournament.  League Parameters Season R1 Challenge Master 960 Open 960, 10+ pl., 3 dpm S3 Nov 14 Praetorian 960 Open 960, 10+, 1 dpm S2 Nov 28 Each round will be announced on Fridays, 2 weeks ahead of the match start date. Clubs are expected to set up matches by the end of the weekend. Please review the TCMAC rules before signing up. Be sure that club admins monitor TCMAC forums and news announcements. Clubs should not change their name after the season starts. For an overview of all the leagues and archive of previous seasons, consult the TCMAC Archive. & 📢 Welcome to the new TCMAC season! 🎉 I’m pleased to announce the start of two new leagues joining this stage: Legionario U1400 and the Votechess Byzantine Second Edition. 📌 Registrations for both competitions are officially open from this moment: Legionario U1400: registration closes on October 24th. Votechess Byzantine: registration closes on November 4th. All teams that participated in the previous edition are already registered automatically and only need to confirm their participation.👉 If any team is not registered and would like to join, you are more than welcome to participate! ⚔️ Regarding the rules: Legionario U1400: the rules will remain exactly the same as in the previous edition. Votechess Byzantine: the format will change in this new edition, with updates that will also apply to the S1 playoffs: 1 game per round. 2 days per move. League Season Format Colosseum 960 S3 960, 25+ Decanus U1200 S4 U1200, 5+ Gaius Iulius Caesar 2dpm S4 Open, 2 days, 10+ Gladiator U1600 S5 U1600, 10+ The TCMAC leagues above are starting in October, with one or two leagues starting each week. New rounds will be announced on Fridays and the match start date is 2 weeks later. We will also use a live website for tracking match results, and there are a streamlined set of rules for all leagues. Please review the new rules before signing up.  Be sure that clubs are able to meet the minimum number of boards for the leagues you are registering, and that club admins monitor TCMAC forums and news announcements. Clubs should not change their name after the season starts. Four more leagues will open for registration in October. The leagues will start in the month following registration.  See this post for the schedule of league registration and first round dates. Colosseum first round challenges will be announced on October 3. Registration for that league will close the previous weekend on September 28. The other leagues start in the following weeks. Register your club below if you would like to participate in any of the above leagues. In each case provide the club name and link, name of one or two active admins, and which league or leagues you wish to join. Teams new to TCMAC should provide a link to a match that shows they can meet the minimum number of boards - note that Colosseum 960 requires 25 players minimum, Decanus U1200 5 players, and the others require 10 players.
