Puzzle. Find the blunder.

Today I played this game with a friend of mine.
I was very satifisfied about this game untill I got it analyzed.
In one turn I made a huge blunder. Who can find it?

Twinchicky

21. b3+ was bad. Better was Bb3+! Qxb3 axb3#. Not sure if that's the move you're talking about though.

Wilbert_78

No, had I seen this blunder, move 21 would never have been played.

Wilbert_78

(but thanks for pointing that one out, I missed that one also lol!)

heister

a hanging rook, but you still would have annihilated him in about 3 moves

Wilbert_78

No. I'll give a hint. I missed a mate in one. (that's the blunder I'm looking for). Hmmz, I do see the hanging rook now ... that was a blunder too haha :P

heister

you're talking about move 14 or so.  You missed a mate in 2 on move 21.  Bb3 would have ended it there.  On move 23 ...Kxa1 Ba3 Kxa2 b4# still seems to end it shortly after the text ;).

Wilbert_78

Yes, all things are true!
(I assume you allready found the move, so lets see if anybody else sees it.)

I hit myself on the head when I finally noticed it, because it wasn't even a candidate move for me. While it should have been, given the pattern on the board.

heister

Oh the queen check is just so tempting though. :p

Is it

Ovfubc sbejneq ba gur o svyr ba zbir sbhegrra?

Or did I just do a blunder there? :)

(Rot13.com to "decrypt" my suggetion, I didn't use notation to avoid it being to easy to see what I meant even after rot13 - just so I don't spoil it for others, in case I actually was right :)

Wilbert_78

Ah you should try rot26, double encryption must mean it's double secure!

And yes, you've found it! Good job! Doesn't happen to me all that often anymore, but when it does it reminds that I still have a long way to go.
