Puzzle Rush practice timer should be restored

There was a period of some months between the introduction of Puzzle Rush and the repackaging of Tactics into its cuter version "Puzzles". During that period we had the benefit of practicing any selected PuzzleRush tactic against the clock. That training benefit was eliminated by the cutification. We lost our solution timer for practice attempts.

Upon completion of a PuzzleRush, we spot a red x tactic and think "I am not going to time out on that one again!". We click on that tactic and are taken to its TT home where we can study and practice it until we can solve it confidently. But how are we to  know if the solution we have come to own is finally fast enough to avoid timing out? There is no timer....NOW.....since April 2019.

Before cutification we had the optional timer to practice any PuzzleRush tactic against the clock because we had an optional timer on all unrated attempts. Since cutification we have lost the timer for attempts against all Puzzles nee Tactics that are unrated.

Each PuzzleRush tactic attempt is against the clock. Practice under replicating conditions requires a timer. (Practice by doing more PuzzleRush is of course great, but in the next PuzzleRush are we likely to see the target tactic again?) The timer should be restored.

We've debated this before. I honestly don't remember the arguments against it as I am in favor of allowing a clock if you want one. I suppose if we get enough people in the support we could probably add it back.
