That is the sort of thing I would like clarified rather than guessing. What is the behaviour, in order to be able to use it without a paused run being terminated as a surprise?
As a result of the lack of clarity I merely have a third 47 Survival run, and I could have definitely improved on that.
I was pleased to find after I spent the best part of an hour doing Puzzle Rush Survival but didn't have any more time that when I returned the next day, a resume button appeared! So I continued carefully doing puzzles which eventually took several minutes each for me. I reached an equal best score with 47 right and just the final one wrong after resumption. I like the "resume" feature a lot. To beat my best Puzzle Rush survival score, I need well over an hour of solving, so it is good to be able to break the time up.
Unfortunately, when I went back again today, the resume button didn't appear. The run is recorded in the Puzzle Rush stats with just the one life lost at the end. I am rather sure I did not choose to quit, and I was intending trying to get some more right before I lost the remaining two lives (it had reached a similar level to my general tactics rating).
Could someone clarify what would cause this? I am not aware of any documentation for the feature. I suspect it might be because of a routine clean of my browser or something (I don't think I deleted cookies, but I am not sure).
While it is a shame this run was wasted, I would like to avoid the same happening again, so I need to know what causes what happened and what the general behaviour is intended to be.
