When b3, g3, or Nc3 are first moves by white, you shouldn't start out with the premise that a gambit line will develop. Your objective should be to play good chess NOT what gambits can I play. Possibilities for gambits may, or may not, arise as the game evolves. Remember, in ALL your games you want to first strive to win. Gambits are useful TACTICS, and sometimes they can plainly befuddle an opponent and help you do that. However, gambits are not STRATEGY.
