Congratulations Chaz, commiserations Keith? So now one club has three executives(beware the hydes of...) Obviously the BDCA has no problem with this( they didn't 3 years ago, when executives were spread amongst 5 clubs).

Temptation, the precedent has been set, meetings when the Executive decide(no notice!). If the Management Committee is not quorate, the Executive decide, if it is, the Executive leave, the meeting is not quorate.

Not complaining, just gloating!

Mr_Bump

Gloat all you want Dennis, you haven't played in Bradford this year and aren't affiliated to a club with regard to this year's fees - so your opinion is equal to your vote... zero. If you want a valid opinion, you know where all the clubs are...

The actual sad fact is this: nobody else except Central Division WANTS to take the lead and make a genuine input to the running of things - hence the new committee members and the majority votes that elected them. When nobody else steps forward to accept a role, I'm very proud of my fellow club members in taking up the slack (in Keith's case, very reluctantly). The situation should be congratulated, if we 'young' bloods (myself & Chaz will play our 20th season next year, Keith is only a couple behind) also didn't bother - what then?

So it should also be commiserations Chaz?

It's been a long time since an ordinary member's opinion counted for much in Bradford, taxed or not.

I'm glad Central make up the majority of the Executive, at last no hidden agenda, but after the Ilkley affair will you print( and read) rule books.

Mr_Bump

Oh yes indeed... handbooks will not be missed next season!

#3 Seems I was wrong about hidden agendas, but at last committee meetings are back on the BDCA website.

Would seem I was right about Wainwright's Quorum.

It would seem my prophecy in 2009 wasn't far short of the mark!
