wait a minute! now its super wierd; I clicked on "global" and it went to the global leaderboard:
No.1 in the world is a 2400! so the # on our profiles is actually correct just based off a wierd leaderboard

There have been some changes in how members qualify for leaderboard rankings. I don't know the specifics of the change though.

I'm in the top 0.1% now even tho I was only like 0.2 when I was 2000?

Probably, based on the criteria being used to populate the leaderboards. It's possible there are some cases where some members that should be included, aren't, but don't expect it's by a large number.

I mean curently in the global leaderboard for blitz, Hikaru, Magnus, Alireza are nowhere to be seen

The fact that there are a lot of accounts on chess.com that people make paired with the fact that upon a new account chess.com assigns them provisional rating making it easy to gain ratings really makes leaderboard a joke.

There are minimum requirements to show up on the leaderboards. New accounts do not immediately show up.
I was just browsing through chess.com rankings and made a post about how I was 4600th in the world but now I am like 120th in the world.
This is also a chase for rapid as well I'm somehow like 1000th in the world what is happening does anyone know ?
