no need for lines in a rook ending.. What do you think about the aggressive idea of Qd3 and Bc2 after move 12?
Rd 4 from Mid America Open

I didn't consider that, I am not opposed to the idea; I also thought about e5, in order to meet b4 with ne4. My coach said he thought he would have played Bf4 instead of Be3 here.
I would be a little worried that Qd3 and Bc2 might give black some time to consolidate. I feel like white biggest trump is development.

If you're playing 7. g4, I assume you'd want to attack king side. I could be wrong since I'm not so familliar with the ideas. I would have considered Qd3 Bc2 e5 Ne4 g5 and Nf6+ as a dream world plan and then tried to make it work. If that fails, then maybe off to something else.
Intuition says that you have enough pieces to aim at his king to just win the game from the move 12 position since his knights, bishop, queen and rook are all trapped on the queen side of the board.
After three pretty easy wins I went for a super agressive line in my next game that I ordinarily wouldn't play. I was just feeling cocky and thougth I could get away with whatever I wanted. Its actually line that is a stronger verison of the shabalov gambit in the anti-meran lines. Its a pretty complicated game.
